Turning aerospace alloys

Carboloy Inc., a Seco Tools Co based in Warren, Mich., has introduced sum of two units turning grades for aerospace and high-temperature alloy applications. Grade CP250 has a PVD multilayer coating and a thick of TiAlN for pious wear resistance and tool life in high-speed semiroughing and semifinishing operations. As for the other grade, CP200 is well suited for semiroughing between the sides of finishing of various alloys including IN 100 Rene 95 nickel, cobalt, and cobalt-chrome alloys. It can also handle yielding titanium alloys.
