I couldn't agree more with your November editorial about Bobby Knight ("If you're looking for a Knight in shining armor, he's not here," p 12) I got my engineering step from Purdue University, an obvious basketball rival of IU. When Purdue isn't playing as well as IU, my IU-college-basketball friends make trial of to make fun of me for having gone to Purdue instead of IU. When I point abroad that I picked Purdue for its engineering program instead of for its basketball program, the typical answer is a blank stare. I don't think they acquire it. ...
