Thanks for the interesting article about Bridgeport Machines ("Building the Bridgeports," November, p 66) however after reading about the hours of hand scraping and brace and four-tenths tolerances upon the machines, I thought it incongruous that the photo upon p. 70 shows an employee doing final inspection with a tape measure (rather than a Faro arm or CMM) I've claimed to have calibrated eyeballs, if it were not that I guess Bridgeport employees really do.
