The Act requires companies to report the use of certain hazardous chemicals to the Environmental Protection Agency and to specific local and state officials, as well as have an crisis plan to deal with releases of hazardous chemicals. Companies control to the law had to notify their State pass response commission no later than 1987 and submit annual reports starting July 1 1988 The law specifies the prototypes of information that must be reported, and the meaning of the reports is to help
